Ready for
your desktop.

1. Download the Windows ZIP and extract the entire archive.
2. Open the extracted folder and launch Ocean Defenders.exe.
3. Keep the executable, Ocean Defenders_Data, DLLs and other included folders together.

This is a portable game package. Unity Editor is not required. It has no publisher signing certificate, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher notice.

1. Open the downloaded DMG.
2. Drag Ocean Defenders to the Applications shortcut.
3. Eject the disk image and open the game from Applications.

This independent release is not notarized by Apple. If macOS blocks the first launch and you trust the download, after trying to open it go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway for this app. Apple’s installation guidance ↗

Follow the in-game tutorial. Choose a facility card, or press 1–6, and place it on a glowing build point. Start the next wave when your defenses are ready. Use the HUD to pause, adjust game speed, upgrade facilities and explore ecology information.

The game runs offline. Optional ecology references open in your browser.

macOS: macOS 12 or later. Universal application for Apple silicon and Intel. Standalone launch, rendering and wave progression checked on an Apple silicon Mac; Intel runtime performance has not been tested.

Windows: x86-64 build. Compilation and package integrity checked. A native Windows gameplay test has not yet been performed.

Minimum CPU, GPU and memory requirements have not been benchmarked across different computers. These are desktop downloads, not mobile or browser-playable versions.

New standalone builds of the current game project, packaged on 13 October 2026. Includes the original gameplay map, build points, six facility types, tutorial, wave controls and ecology panels.

The game’s own version remains 1.0.0; the build date distinguishes these files from earlier packages. Promotional screenshot scenes are not included in the playable scene list.
